This is a tool that helps remove blank pages from a PDF document.
Blank pages could be easily removed from PDF documents with this tool. The way this tool will process a PDF document is to analyze each pixel on a page and determine what amount of pixels is actually black and how many are not. One could set a threshold. When total number of non-blank pixels is less that the threshold, it will select the page as a blank. When creating a PDF by scanning pages of an existing document, such blank pages are often created. You then need a tool to remove these, else it is very tedious to find such pages and remove them. You can even define an area on the page that should be examined to determine if a page is blank. This helps prevent pages with holes (spiral bound documents, for example) to be detected as a non-blank one.
This is a simple to operate tool. Most users will be able to get on top of this easily. You don’t have to process the complete document. You can specify a page range to be processed; page range like 2, 3, 12-17 etc. It is compatible with Windows operating systems including Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. It has a batch interface that lets you handle a bunch of files at a time. The trial version will have watermark on the pages of the output document. This will not happen after you have paid for a license. This is a good tool and a fit candidate for trying out, if you have need for the same.
